Dennis M. Hanson
Senior Executive Vice President, SMI
Dennis
Hanson serves as the Company’s Chief Financial
Officer as well as General Counsel. He began his career
in public accounting at Haskins and Sells in 1976. In 1980,
he joined Computervision Corporation, where he held various
financial positions including Vice President of Audit.
Dennis joined Steinway in 1988 as Vice President Finance
and assumed duties as General Counsel in 1993. After the
merger of The Selmer Company and Steinway & Sons in
1995, his duties were expanded to include the entire Steinway
Musical Instruments operations.
Dennis received his BA degree in economics and accounting
from Holy Cross and his JD from Suffolk University. Age:
52.
