John M. Stoner, Jr.

John Stoner became a director of the Company in 2002.
He joined Steinway in 2002 as President of Conn-Selmer,
a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. Prior to that,
John spent 25 years with True Temper, Inc., a manufacturer
of non-powered lawn and garden tools, where he held various
positions of increasing responsibility. In 1995, John was
appointed President and CEO. After Ames acquired the company
in 1999, he was appointed President and CEO of Ames True
Temper.
John received his BS degree in marketing from Clarion State
University. Age: 54.
