I have a Selmer MK VI Bari-Sax that appears to be made in November of 1963. The serial number starts 109xxx1. All the other serial numbers I have seen by Selmer only have 6 digits. This one has 7 digits. Does anyone know why? Is it because they made more than 1000 Bari-Saxs in Nov. 1963? Or does it designate something different with the Sax?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a Selmer USA if that makes a difference.
Thanks.
Marty
